Laser for Spring

You know that Spring has sprung when you've got Daffodils in every available mason jar around your house.

For many of us, Spring is the season where we start to put away the insulated tights (thank god for Primark and their cosy range!) and look at updating our wardrobe for the change in weather. I've never been self-conscious of my body hair, it is what it is and I happily let it do it's thing over the winter months but if there is one thing I love, it's that feeling of freshly shaved and moisturised legs. It's fab right? But it only lasts a day and I'm back to shaving again.

Laser Hair Removal is something I have looked into before and so when Pulse Light Clinic contacted me about their treatments, I thought it would be interesting to do some research. Starting with the basics, the laser removal process works by targeting the hair follicle with a laser light to damage the follicle and therefore stop the follicle producing further hairs. Unlike, electrolysis, the lasers can target a larger amount of hairs in one go and is supposedly much less painful! Cool huh? For the best results, multiple treatments are necessary to make sure that all hairs are treated and if you're wondering about the benefits:-
  • Reduction of ingrown hairs
  • Smoother skin
  • Not having to shave or wax
  • Less irritation to the skin
  • Permanent hair reduction
  • Reduces excessive hair growth ( PCOS)
  • Smaller pores & easy stress free body
How bloody good would a life without shaving be?

For those that are interested, Pulse Light Clinic is based in London on Fenchurch Street. They have multiple lasers for each treatment and are constantly researching and testing new lasers on the markets to treat all skin problems and enhancements giving them the ability to give an accurate and trustworthy overview of the effectiveness of lasers for multiple treatments.

Personally, I would only have my legs lasered as I quite like the rest of my body hair but it's all down to the individual. I'm seriously considering the procedure and would recommend taking a look at Pulse Light Clinic's dedicated page to Laser Hair Removal. They offer a free consultation and prices start for £32 per treatment. You can also check out Pulse Light Clinic's Youtube Video for further information.
