Pinterest DIY | Home Edition

There's something really special about creating an object from scratch. I think the biggest attraction to getting thrifty is the satisfaction it gives you, but personally, I like the idea that an object has a story. I'd like to look back on that patchwork blanket made from terrible band tees and think 'yeah, I made that hell ugly blanket' and I made it because I was one hip individual (obviously not true, who even says hip?) but the point is that you made something and when you did, you cherished it.

Pinterest is an awesome way of finding new diy inspiration and when I'm not trawling through it looking at camping pictures (told you I was hip) I'm usually looking at things I can make. So I thought hey, why not share the love - here are a few of my favourite diys for the home.
