What's In My Basket Wednesday | Sephora

I have a very naughty skilled habit of filling up shopping baskets on various websites and then saving them to remember my treasures for when I have enough pennies. Enter 'What's in my basket Wednesday', these might not be weekly instalments as I'm not that much of a shopaholic and my baskets are usually limited to a handful of websites, but when I do occasionally branch out, I might just share them here.

I was pretty stoked when I heard the news that Sephora had starting shipping internationally and ever since I've been creating a little basket filled with my most wanted items.

Fresh Sugar Lemon Body Lotion: I'm a complete sucker for zesty scents and in particular anything with lemon in it. Described as having sugar-infused refreshing lemon and bergamot scents, this body lotion sounds light, dewy and refreshing.

Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara: Fifty percect blogger enabled and fifty percent packaging whore, I have been eyeing up Tarte's newest mascara offering for some time now. I've read plenty of reviews and the majority have confirmed that this mascara packs a punch but I think the clincher is definitely the wooden style casing.

Ole Hendriksen Brightening Cleansing Cloths: I wouldn't usually buy cleansing wipes, but I've heard that these are actually quite amazing at hydrating and brightening the face in a quick fix. Perfect for camping trips.

Tarte The Sculptor Contouring Face Slenderizer: I'm the first to admit that contouring really isn't my strong suit, in fact, anything other than slapping tinted moisturiser on my face, isn't my strong suit. This seems pretty fail safe which means even a novice like me can achieve cheekbones, watch out Vogue, I'm coming for ya.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush: I know, I know, another Tarte product, but this was the main selling point for me. Tarte is still really difficult to find in the UK and I've been wanting to try the clay blush for such a long time, especially in the shade Tipsy, a pretty perky coral shade.

Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil: Say the words Josie Maran and you've got my attention. Put it with the words cleansing oil and boy you've got me hooked. Personally, I find cleansing oils to be the easist and most effective way of removing make up while keeping the skin hydrated. The fact that this is by Josie Maran just makes it all the more appealing.

What's on your Sephora wishlist?

  1. oh my gosh, isn't sephora the best/worst? on my wishlist is more NARS lipsticks! i'm going through a pink phase, and they have one called "roman holiday" that i'm dying to get my hands on!

    1. It's totally the best/worst! I'm also having a bit of a pink phase, I've non-stop been wearing MAC Angel or Creme Cup lipsticks. Roman Holiday looks lovely. x

  2. I love Sephora but I was really disappointed when I got to the payment page as I discovered most of the things I put in my basket couldn't be shipped internationally! SOB.

    1. I know it's pretty annoying isnt it. My mum is going to New York in February so I'm giving her a huge list of things to bring back haha. x

  3. I always make baskets when I have no money, normally around £500 and then I never buy them. It's just a little form of torturing myself really!

  4. I always save wish lists when websites have those available. I actually have a Sephora gift card but I can't decide what to buy as there's so much to choose from!

  5. Omg I can say hands down Sephora is my go to store when it comes to makeup, they literally have everything except mac & chanel! I am super into matte lipsticks right now so i love trying out different brands & colors, but I have had a lot of good luck with YSL & NARS. Another thing I love trying is finding different contour makeup and whenever I think I have found the perfect one I find another one that works even better! Anyways, I am new to the blogging world but exited that I came across your blog! If you have time check out my blog.

  6. I am literally OBSESSED with Sephora. First off you have to just love the layout of the store and the chic black and white colors that cover the store wallpaper. It DEF my go to hot spot whenever I'm at the mall. Anyways, check out this article I found on this amazing blog that seems to have just gotten going but already the site design and content is hands down top notch!!! Fashion Article
