Monday Musings | 29.09.2014

I think my first instalment of Monday Musings went down pretty well so I'm going to make it a weekly post. Here is my second - I hope you enjoy it.

Home: I just feel so incredibly lucky to live in such a lovely seaside town. I've travelled all across the UK visiting various towns but nowhere compares to me, there really is no place like home and I'm so grateful that mine is this beautiful. I will forever live by the sea.

Sea Salt Spray: Although salt sprays aren't a new concept to me, I've only just started to use it in a way that really works for me. For anyone who hasn't heard of sea salt sprays, they are basically a product for the hair which gives you the beachy waves that can usually be achieved with a visit to the beach but without the sand. When I first bought the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray I used it directly onto wet hair and felt that this completely dried my hair out. Yes it worked but not quite how I wanted it to. I've recently been spraying it directly into my hands and then working it in to dry hair before plaiting/styling. If you're on a budget go for the Schwarzkopf Beach Matt Spray and if you fancy treating yourself pick up the Sachajuan Ocean Mist. (All products are clickable links)

Polagram: I recently stumbled upon this great little free app which allows you to turn your Instagram pictures into Polaroid style print outs. I've seen lots of wall decorations similar to mine here on Pinterest and decided to give it a go. The prints cost £0.29p per picture but I got mine when they had a 30% off dealio - they came super fast and are great quality! You can follow me on Instagram here. Oh and sorry for the awful picture, taking photos when it's dark sucks, in reality you can't see the 'invisible' tape.

Jumper Dresses/Long Hoodies: I know these wont be for everyone but they certainly are for me. What's not to love? Comfort? Check. Warmth? Check. Stylish? Probably not, but I don't care. I would happily live in one of these little beauties and I'm planning to do so all winter. You could also wear these as a Long Hoodie on a Skiing or Snowboarding holiday. My favourite is the DC Ava Dress but you can find the others here and here.

Happy Monday! xo
