What's On My Face | Spring Edition

The sun has finally made an appearance in the UK and it's beginning to feel like Spring at last. My routine doesn't change a great deal with the differing seasons, I'm pretty boring all year round with my make up but I do have a few new additions which have made their way into my make up bag.

My current base is the Korres Ginger & Vitamins Foundation, this is a super lightweight water-based foundation, similar in texture to the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation but with much less coverage. I would probably go as far as to put this in the tinted moisturiser category. The finish is fresh and luminous and just the all round perfect spring base. The only problem I have with this is the smell - it's not something I can really describe but I just find it strange. I'm now on my second tube of the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer and I'm running out fast. This is extremely anti-fatigue as the name might suggest and really does brighten and lift the under eye, it's also brilliant for concealing any redness.

On a weekday I don't tend to wear any eyeshadow or eyeliners simply because I'm too lazy and I'm at work all day so I really don't care. On the rare occasion that I do make an effort I will always go for a bronzey brown messy lived in type of thaaaanng. This chick ain't got no time for smokey eyes. My go to products for this are; MAC's Soba (left in the quad), Elf Shimmering Eyeliner Pencil in Boldly Bronze and the GOSH Intense Eyeliner Pen in Brown. This lovely little trio creates a pretty bronzed goddess type of eye look, you can find swatches for all of them online. My current favourite mascara has to be the Origins Ginzing Mascara, not only is this mascara lengthening and lifting but it's also good for your lashes! It's not the most voluminous of mascara's but for everyday use I really love it.

I picked up the Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Power in the shade 03 Medium Matte around a month ago after hearing Estee from Essie Button rave about it. Boy was she right! This is by far the best bronzer I have ever tried, it's matte and extremely natural so gives you a beautiful sun kissed look. For lips I've been using my all time favourite lipstick, MAC Myth. I know so many lipsticks are claimed to be the 'perfect nude' but this really really is the perfect nude. It's so creamy and the prettiest milky pink nude shade, I urge you to look out for this when you are next at a MAC counter. What are your make up picks for Spring?
